The best AI interactive story format depends on who you want steering. For continuity across weeks, pick one-to-one roleplay with long-term memory. For variety, browse community characters. For ensemble scenes, use group chat. For a fast story steered by a crowd, try a live duel, where gifts decide each of five escalating rounds. Every character in these formats is AI, and adult formats are 18+ only.

The spec sheet: four interactive story formats

Format 1: one-to-one roleplay with memory

This is the classic AI interactive story: you and one character, turn by turn. Its weak point has always been continuity. A story that forgets its own first chapter stops being a story. The fix is an app that stores memory in your account rather than in a single session.

On Swipey, Create AI lets you set her look in realistic or anime style, her personality and a starting scenario from a list of 100+, or you can write your own opener. You can change the scenario later in "Edit My AI". Memory persists across sessions and devices, and asterisk-wrapped action text is highlighted, which keeps narration visibly apart from dialogue. Format 3: group chat

Some stories need more than one voice: a rivalry, a party, a heist crew. Swipey's Group Chat puts several AI characters in one conversation. Expect a busier thread, and give each character a clear role in your opener so they do not blur together. For other apps, check the current feature list before you plan an ensemble story around it.

Format 4: live duels, a story the crowd steers

A Swipey duel is a short, live episode with two AI girls on one stream. Treat its five rounds as five story beats. Each beat opens with a gift window of roughly 40 seconds, in which every viewer's gifts fill one girl's bar or the other's. After a brief lock, the girl with more hearts performs her clip, which answers the round's question. Each round's question is bolder than the one before, so the arc rises the way a well-paced scene should.

The bars reset to zero at every round. As a storytelling device, that is a built-in twist: whoever led the last beat has no advantage in the next, and the ending stays open until the final minute. A tied round goes to the girl who reached the total first. A round nobody gifts is settled by the platform so the episode never stalls, and it counts toward nobody's spend or rewards.

The slot spin is the wild card. Premium members can use it free on a cooldown; others pay in hearts. It always lands as a larger gift for the girl you are backing, counts in the round like any other gift, and never pays hearts back. Pairings change as new AI girls join the roster almost every week, so the cast rotates.

In the duel lobby, several rooms run at once. Tags, search, a tag catalog, badges and featured rooms help you pick a pairing that fits the mood you want, and you join mid-round. You can rate a duel when it ends. Duels are phone-first; a desktop layout is in progress.

How a duel ends, and what carries over

The girl with more round wins takes the duel; five rounds means no draw. The story then narrows to one reader: her top supporter, whoever gifted her the most hearts across the whole duel, moves into a private live with her. It is a private room for just the two of you: chat, plus requests for photos and short videos. If no real viewer gifted her, no private live opens.

For continuity fans, the part that persists is progression. You have a personal progress bar with each girl, filled by gifting, and every tier opens a new album saved to your account: My Private Collection, Secret, Forbidden, Uncensored and, at the top, Unleashed Collection. You keep them even when your girl loses.

AI dating game or AI story: game elements compared

People who search "ai dating game" or "interactive ai girlfriend" often want goals as well as plot. 1. Put the fixed facts in the opener. Names, setting and relationship state belong in the first message or scenario.
2. Edit the scenario, not the whole chat. On Swipey, use "Edit My AI" when the premise shifts.
3. Keep one thread per story. Mixing arcs in one chat confuses any memory.
